About me

My dream out of college was to help struggling small businesses. Taking an idea and turning it into your living has always been the “American Dream” to me. I don’t want someone’s dream cut short because they struggled with another part of the business or weren’t sure how to take the next step, especially when the idea itself has merit and they’re fully capable of making the improvements.

How I got here

I started at a small manufacturer in 2015 as its HR and finance assistant, and kept the job while I finished my degree at Flagler College. At a company that size, whoever finds a problem usually ends up fixing it. My work spread from the books and payroll into inventory, the online storefronts, and shipping.

By 2021 I was Director of HR & Finance there, and in 2024 I led the company’s move from Virginia Beach to Tennessee. Since 2025 I’ve worked with a four-company auto glass, calibration, and coinage group, where a tax-data cleanup grew into rebuilding the books and building the software the office runs on.

That mix is why I work across all three lanes. Most small businesses don’t have a separate person for HR, accounting, and operations, and their problems rarely stay in one of them anyway.

Draft note“How I got here” is drafted from the source of truth; read it aloud and make it yours. Still to add: something human (Jacksonville, hobbies). Delete this note when done.

How my process is built around the business you actually have

I start by understanding how your business actually works, including what your people already do to keep it running. An unusual process may exist for a good reason. Templates can help, but the right improvements preserve what works and address what’s getting in the way.

That applies to software, too. Sometimes an existing product fits. When the subscriptions pile up and the work still needs awkward workarounds, building something in-house can make more sense. I’ve built tools that accept a company’s existing spreadsheets and invoice formats, with manual entry alongside the imports so staff can move over gradually. One install crew kept scheduling in their own Google Sheet, and the platform simply mirrors it. The company owns the tool and controls its data.

I handle the implementation and work with the people using it, documenting the changes and training as we go. That includes checking whether the new process holds up in daily use. The goal is to leave you with something your team can run confidently after I step back.
